Glasford Village Board discusses park fence

The Glasford Village Board met July 21.

Here are the meeting minutes as provided by Glasford:

The regularly scheduled meeting of the Village Board of Glasford was convened at 7:00 pm. In attendance were Mayor Rudd, Clerk Stetler, Trustees Allen, Bailey, Kingsley, Pilgrim, and Whaley. Trustee Schoenbrun was absent. Also in attendance were Chief Harper, Water/Sewer Supt. Brown, Streets/Maint. Supt. Reimer, Harold Roberts, Jim Willoby, Nan and John Rudd.

Motion to accept June 16, 2016 meeting minutes made by Bailey, 2nd by Allen. Roll call… Allen – AYE; Bailey – AYE; Kingsley – AYE; Pilgrim – AYE; Whaley – AYE. All ayes. Motion carried.

Water/Sewer report presented and accepted.

Streets/Maintenance report presented and accepted.

Police report presented and accepted.

Treasurer’s report presented and accepted. 

Motion to pay bills, except for Onstar renewal, and outstanding Direct Energy and Visa bills was made by Allen, 2nd by Pilgrim. Roll call… Allen – AYE; Bailey – AYE; Kingsley – AYE; Pilgrim – AYE; Whaley – AYE. All ayes. Motion carried.

Review of old business….attorney is working on unsafe buildings ordinance; park land purchase; and annexation procedures into Village limits.

Clerk informed Board that it was going to be necessary for fence to be re-installed at park before park purchase would go through. Board told Reimer to get estimates to have fence re-installed and present back at August Board meeting.

Motion for adjournment made by Bailey, 2nd by Allen. Roll call… Allen – AYE; Bailey – AYE; Kingsley – AYE; Pilgrim – AYE; Whaley – AYE. All ayes. Motion carried.

Meeting ended at 7:36 p.m.
