Brimfield Public Library District met June 5.
Here is the minutes provided by the District:
Call to Order – Jon Davis called the regular meeting of the Brimfield Public Library Board of Trustees to order.
Roll Call – Jon Davis took Roll Call with the following members present: Holly More, Shirley Sollenberger, Jenni Wahl, Pam Fabish, Trip Barton, and Director Patti Smith.
Public Comment – None.
Special Order – Newly elected Trustees, Jon Davis and Trip Barton, took the Oath of Office.
Officers were elected with the following results: Jon Davis - President, Holly More - Vice-President, Angie Sneeringer- Secretary, and Pam Fabish - Treasurer.
Holly More made a motion to pass the Meeting Dates Ordinance. Jenni Wahl seconded; motion carried.
Shirley Sollenberger made a motion to pass the Prevailing Wage Ordinance. Holly More seconded; motion carried.
Secretary’s Report – Trip Barton made a motion to approve minutes from the April meeting. Pam Fabish seconded; motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report – Shirley Sollenberger made a motion to approve the April and May Financial Reports. Holly More seconded; motion carried.
Shirley Sollenberger made a motion to ratify the June bills. Jenni Wahl seconded; motion carried.
Director’s Report – Patti Smith presented the director’s report.
Unfinished Business – Discussed installing fencing around dumpster. Pam Fabish made a motion to accept the bid from S&S Fencing. Trip Barton seconded; motion passed.
Discussed installing concrete pad beneath dumpster. Holly More made a motion to accept the bid from Tom Powers. Shirley Sollenberger seconded; motion passed.
Discussed providing health insurance for the Director for the next fiscal year. Pam Fabish made a motion to provide health insurance for the Director for the next fiscal year. Shirley Sollenberger seconded; motion passed.
Adjournment – Jenni Wahl made a motion to adjourn. Shirley Sollenberger seconded; motion carried.
