Village Of Bellevue Board of Trustees met July 10.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

The Village Council, of the Village of Bellevue, Peoria County, Illinois, met in Regular Session July 10,

2018. Chairman Johnson, called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M.

Chairman Johnson, directed Clerk Wilson, to call Roll.

Present: Chairman, Terry Johnson

Trustees:

Aaron Lannert,

Leroy Wiseman,

Marty Schuettler,

Francis Heskett,

Dean Merriman

Also, Present: Superintendent, Steve Wilson

Village Attorney, Lane Alster

Peoria County Officer, Zach Ferguson

Zoning Officer, Matt Raible

Absent: Trustee, Chad Murphy

Chairman Johnson, declared a Quorum present.

The Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting, June 26, 2018, were presented. Motion Trustee Schuettler, second Trustee Wiseman, that the Council approve Minutes as presented.

Motion carried via voce vote

Motion Trustee Schuettler, second Trustee Lannert, bills as presented be paid and the payrolls and transfers be approved.

Roll Call Vote was:

Ayes: Lannert, Wiseman, Heskett, Schuettler Merriman

Nays: None

Absent: Trustee, Chad Murphy

Chairman Johnson declared motion carried.

Chairman Johnson – Notified the Members, that they were not using proposed Ordinance, since the Village is not Home Rule.

Village Attorney, Lane Alster – Updated Members, that tracks are not allowed and you can’t take ATV, off property. Zoning Officer, Matt Raible is issuing a ticket to residence, where needed. If issue continues call every time and tickets will be issued. If the Village, fines everyday to resident, it may stop. If violation is paid on time the dollar amount will drop.

Speaker, Police Officer, Ferguson – Advised the Members, Bellevue has had burglaries in town. Closen Rd., and Main St., seven cars burglarized. It was posted July 7, 2018, to FB, and suspects were apprehended on July 08, 2018. Officer Ferguson, let the Board know that there will be no more warnings, for residents

@ the corner of Closen Rd., and Byron Ct. Officer Ferguson, has received to many complaints on residents not stopping @ stop sign.

Speaker, Staci Ogborn – Addressed Officer Ferguson, about property damage on Main St.

Village Attorney, Lane Alster – Informed Staci, property damage was a legal matter.

Superintendent, Wilson – Informed the Members, Tim Garrison, would like to have a recycling facility, on his property.

Trustee, Merriman - Stated to Members, Darst St., has a recycling center, if Members, would like to view it.

Speaker, Matthew Fravenholfer - Expressed to Members, that his father would like to purchase property, on Plank Rd. Mr. Fravenholfer, stated that his father has a one condition, on proposed purchase. His father would like to have a personal use only shooting range, on property. Mr. Fravenholfer, stated his father is willing, to go by special conditions if needed.

Village Attorney, Lane Alster – Advised that he would look into legal matters, on this request, by Mr. Fravenholfer. He informed Mr. Fravenholfer, that nothing could be done at this time.

Trustee, Lannert – Inquired about burned house on Anna St.

Village Attorney, Lane Alster – Informed Members, Anna St., house progress, July. Also, property located on Closen Rd, owners Attorney, Karl Kupper, stated he would contact company, by upcoming Friday.

Trustee, Schuettler – Informed Members of two motorized bikes racing on Byron Ct.

Trustee, Heskett - Informed Members of missing flag on Katherine St., and asked about car and weeds grown up @ 5308 Katherine St.

Motion Trustee Lannert, second Trustee Merriman, to close the meeting

Ayes: Lannert, Wiseman, Heskett, Schuettler Merriman

Nays: None

Absent: Trustee, Chad Murphy, Trustee, Dean Merriman

Chairman Johnson, announced, that there being no further business the Council meeting adjourned at 6:40 p.m.
