BANNER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Dunlap High School’s “Stage 323” Presents Legally Blonde: The Musical

Banner Elementary School issued the following announcement on Jan. 6.

Over 50 high school students take the stage at Dunlap High School as “Stage 323” presents the upbeat musical, Legally Blonde, directed and choreographed by Robin Hunt, with music and live orchestra direction by Jill Shea. Show dates are Friday, January 24th & Saturday, January 25th at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, January 26th at 2:00 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students/seniors. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance through the high school office located at 5220 W. Legion Hall Rd in Dunlap. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. The box office opens one hour before show time and seating begins thirty minutes prior to curtain.

This year’s production of Legally Blonde follows college sweetheart and homecoming queen, Elle Woods, who doesn’t take no for an answer. So when Elle’s boyfriend, Warner, dumps her for someone serious, Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and heads for Harvard Law School. Based on the hit movie of the same name, Legally Blonde is the fun and fabulous feel-good musical comedy that reminds us being true to yourself never goes out of style!

Dunlap High School is known for their quality productions in all genres of theatre. This year’s production has over 80 students involved in the production from the cast, the backstage crews and student orchestra. Lead roles are played by Rachel Kocher as Elle Woods, Jacob Brodkorb as Warner Huntington III, and John Rooney as Emmett Forrest.

The verdict? This much fun shouldn’t be legal! Don’t miss the Dunlap High School’s Stage 323 fun-filled production of Legally Blonde: The Musical featuring a large ensemble of talented students and several big song-and-dance numbers!
