Analysis: Chillicothe pays $3.90 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Chillicothe Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 79.6 percent of the $293,392 the Chillicothe Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.90 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Chillicothe contributed $233,615 to the fund, which saw a $7,064 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $59,778, or 20.4 percent, in 2018.
