Bartonville Volunteer Fire Department responded to 69 calls in 2018 - 27.8 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Bartonville included 51 fires - 33 structure fires, eight vehicle fires and 10 other fires.

The department also received 18 false calls.

The calls resulted in one civilian fire-related injury, 428 civilian non-fire injuries, one civilian fire-related death and eight civilian non-fire deaths.
