Report: Riverview School District spent $8,559 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Riverview Community Consolidated School District 2 was up 5 percent from five years ago, according to the Peoria Standard analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Woodford County school district spent $8,154 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $8,559 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 239 to 226 students over the same period.

Riverview's spending in 2019-20 was 40.9 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
