City of El Paso Audit Committee met Oct. 28.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

A Regular Meeting of the El Paso City Council Audit Committee was called to order by Alderman Will Moore on October 28, 2024, at 6:00 PM.

Committee Members Present: Howard, Moore and Kilpatrick. Other Council Members Present: Mayor Price, Aldermen Brucker and Mool. Zoom: Kim.

Present in Person: Director of Public Services Barry Kauther, Clerk David Fever and Administrative Assistant Sandee Kessinger. Also present: None.

Pledge of allegiance to the flag was recited.

Approval of Agenda: Motion by Kilpatrick, seconded by Moore to approve the agenda as presented. Voice vote taken of all ayes.

New Business: The Annual Financial Report (Audit) for Fiscal Year 2024 in draft copy was presented for discussion and possible recommendation for approval.

After much discussion and questions answered, Motion by Kilpatrick, seconded by Moore to recommend acceptance of Audit on the November 4, 2024, City Council Meeting. Voice call vote of all ayes.

Motion by Howard seconded by Kilpatrick to adjourn. Voice vote taken of all ayes. The meeting was adjourned at 6:53 PM.
