City of El Paso Beautification Committee met Jan. 16.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

The Beautification Committee Meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm by Chairman Mary Ellen Kilpatrick. 

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 

Roll call was taken with Committee Members Thad Mool and Jenny Staulcup present. 

Others present were: Mayor, JW Price; Director of Public Service, Barry Kauther; Tom McLees, John Koos, Kim Kearney, and Jennie Kearney. 

Also present via Zoom was Administrative Assistant, Sandee Kessinger and Nathan Ary. 

Discussion began with Chairman Kilpatrick stating what the Council is looking for to fill the boxes in the new sidewalks. Discussion and questions then turned to the 3 landscape company representatives. The landscape company representatives will draw up plans and submit an estimate. The Director of Public Service requested that three landscape companies come back with a proposal by the end of February. 

Mool made a motion to adjourn and Staulcup seconded. The meeting was adjourned at 6:48 PM.
