 5. Recommendations to the Steering Committee:Â
 • Investigation in-ground system for getting people around similar to larger cities – cuts down on automobiles, safer, especially since Jefferson is being made into a 2-wayÂ
 • Lack of vehicle ownership- Changing Gears program- what can we do here? Should we reach out?Â
• If we had a survey or forum, what questions would we ask of citizens:Â
 i. What are the biggest challenges you face with transportation and mobility- a gut-check  here of what we have been assuming are the issues Â
ii. Is it the bus stop, vehicle ownership, what stands in the way of getting there? Â
iii. Where are the gaps? Â
iv. Not just for the underserved? Can we focus on overall improvements? Creating good methods for links to jobs in various areas like downtown. Park & Ride? eliminate pollution v. Any types of changes- as things get better- the community can grow through progress of improvements Â
vi. Training for bike riders? Offer this where they live. Neighborhood House! Identify a bike riding organization- see if we can get someone to volunteer. Â
6. New Business Â
7. Adjournment
