Decatur Memorial Hospital recognized Sean Hosler, a pharmacy technician, as its February Colleague of the Month, according to a March 10 announcement.

The recognition highlights employees who demonstrate excellence in their roles and reflect the hospital’s mission and values. Honorees are selected for their dedication, reliability, and positive impact on colleagues.

Hosler is known among his peers for his strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail. He is also credited with boosting morale within the department by working various shifts and stepping into different roles when needed.

“Since joining the department, Sean has been a positive force, always ready to take on any task, solve problems as they arise and support the team without hesitation,” his nominator wrote. “His contributions may not be flashy or headline-grabbing, but he excels in the day-to-day work that keeps operations running smoothly.”

The Colleague of the Month program at Decatur Memorial Hospital aims to recognize staff members whose daily efforts contribute significantly to hospital operations.
