Two sidewalks in downtown Peoria will be closed on Monday, August 18, to allow for mural installations. The closures are scheduled to last throughout the day.

The first sidewalk closure will occur on the west side of the 200 block of SW Adams, extending from Fulton Plaza to Liberty Street. The second closure is planned for the west side of the 400 block of SW Water Street, between Harrison and Commercial Streets.

According to city officials, all closed areas will be clearly marked. The city has expressed appreciation for public patience during this period.
