FOIA Request to Mason County Sheriff’s Office Regarding 2024 Arrest Records on January 7, 2025. The request was sent by the Peoria Standard, a media organization committed to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs.

In an effort to maintain transparency and hold public institutions accountable, we at the Peoria Standard have requested a list of all arrests made in the year 2024 under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140. We have specifically asked for this information in an electronic format for ease of access and analysis.

The details we are seeking include the arrestee’s name, date of arrest, gender, race, date of birth, and the crime committed. This information is vital in our mission to provide thorough and accurate news coverage about local government affairs.
