Kansas Street will be closed between North California Avenue and North New York Avenue from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, for the Centerpoint Community Church Easter Egg Hunt, according to an announcement made on April 2. The event is sponsored by Richwoods Christian Church.

The temporary closure is intended to ensure the safety of participants attending the Easter Egg Hunt. Drivers are advised to be aware of the closure and exercise caution when traveling in the area during these hours.

Organizers said that closing Kansas Street will help provide a safe environment for families and children participating in the event.

Community events such as this often require street closures to accommodate large groups and ensure public safety. Residents are encouraged to plan alternate routes if they need to travel through this part of town during the scheduled closure period.

The street is expected to reopen at 11 a.m., once activities have concluded.
