Kelsey Van Fleet, a registered nurse at Lincoln Memorial Hospital, was recognized as the February Colleague of the Month, according to a March 10 announcement.

The recognition highlights Van Fleet’s dedication and support for her colleagues and patients. The award is given to team members who demonstrate excellence in their roles and reflect the hospital’s mission and values.

Van Fleet joined Memorial in 2019 and has since become an important resource for both nurses and technicians. One nominator wrote, “Kelsey is always willing to jump in and help support the nurses as well as the techs. Even when she is super busy herself, she is always right behind you, willing to help in any way possible.”

In addition to her willingness to assist others, Van Fleet is known for her strong communication skills and commitment to ongoing education. She takes time to explain procedures and answer questions, which benefits both patients and staff by fostering a culture of learning within the department.

The Colleague of the Month program aims to recognize employees who go above and beyond in their daily work.
