Dates and times have been set for seniors and disabled persons to submit their applications for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) in Auburn.
Residents whose last name begins with the letters A through L can submit their application Oct. 11 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., or 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Residents whose last name begins with the letters M through Z can return their application Oct. 12 during the same hours.
Applications must be submitted at the Auburn Township Hall, located at 324 W. Jefferson.
Applicants will need to bring a picture ID, Social Security cards for those living in the household, proof of income for all members of the household for the past 30 days, including child support, utility bills (standard bills as well as any disconnect notices they received), medical card and proof of SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program). Renters must bring a rental agreement.
