Brimfield Community Unified School District 309 Board of Education Workload/Caseload Committee met May 9.
Here is the minutes provided by the Board:
Meeting was called to order @ 7 am
Mr. Heinz, Mr. Kenney, Mr. Updyke, Mrs. Walker, Mrs. Nelson, Mrs. McCauley, Mrs. Herron, Mrs. Blane & Mr. Richardson were present.
Committee brought new board members serving on the committee up to speed with the committee's purpose and the work completed to this point.
Discussed the need in the elementary grades for assistants to benefit student learning.
Administration will put together some numbers of increased starting pay for the assistants and report to the board at the May meeting.
