Germantown Fire Protection District responded to 20 calls in 2016, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System obtained by the East Central Reporter.

The calls in Germantown included 16 fires - eight structure fires, two vehicle fires and six other fires.

In all, the department saw $2,500 in fire loss - or about $156 per fire.

The department also received four false calls.
