Secor Fire Protection District responded to 16 calls in 2016, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System obtained by the East Central Reporter.

The calls in Secor included 14 fires - five structure fires, two vehicle fires and seven other fires.

In all, the department saw $250 in fire loss - or about $18 per fire.

The department also received two false calls.
