Easton Rural Fire Protection District responded to 23 calls in 2016, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System obtained by the West Central Reporter.

The calls in Easton Rural included 21 fires - seven structure fires, four vehicle fires and 10 other fires.

In all, the department saw $335,085 in fire loss - or about $15,956 per fire.

The department also received two false calls.
