Cincinnati Fire Protection District responded to 27 calls in 2016, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System obtained by the West Central Reporter.

The calls in Cincinnati included 23 fires - 10 structure fires, five vehicle fires and eight other fires.

In all, the department saw $224,100 in fire loss - or about $9,743 per fire.

The department also received four false calls.

The calls resulted in one civilian fire-related injury and one civilian fire-related death.
