Report: Pleasant Valley spent $7,637 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Pleasant Valley School District 62 is up 0 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Peoria County school district spent $7,614 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $7,637 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 527 to 529.

Pleasant Valley's spending in 2016-17 was 41 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
