Report: County of Woodford spent $11,768 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at County of Woodford School is up 10 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Woodford County school district spent $10,659 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $11,768 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 986 to 997.

County of Woodford's spending in 2016-17 was 9 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
