Report: Bradford spent $8,162 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Bradford Community Unified School District 1 is down 38 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Stark County school district spent $13,169 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $8,162 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 210 to 154.

Bradford's spending in 2016-17 was 37 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
