Report: Germantown Hills spent $7,696 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Germantown Hills School District 69 is up 4 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Woodford County school district spent $7,418 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $7,696 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 868 to 865.

Germantown Hills's spending in 2016-17 was 41 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
