Graduates earn 109 degrees, certificates from Midstate College

About 49.5 percent of the 109 degrees and certificates handed out by the Midstate College in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Peoria conferred 36 bachelor's degrees and 17 associate's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Data shows the school gave out 26 bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General, followed by 13 bachelor's degrees in Health/Health Care Administration/Management and 12 associate's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General.

The college enrolled 405 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
