Illinois residents paid $9,990 to attend the two-year public institution this year $600 more than the $9,390 charged for 2016-17.
Non-residents paid 10.8 percent more than residents this year, or $11,070. Their price tag grew 5.7 percent from $10,470 in 2016-17.
About 98 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Illinois residents. And about 2 percent are residents of other states.
Data shows 87 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 256 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1.13 million and 91 students took out student loans totaling more than $475,312.
Including all undergraduates, 937 students used grants or scholarships totaling $3.91 million. Another 321 took out $1.73 million in federal student loans.
