Logan-Trivoli Fire Protection District responded to 42 calls in 2017 - 31.2 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Logan-Trivoli included 34 fires - 10 structure fires, five vehicle fires and 19 other fires.

In all, the department saw $267,650 in fire loss - or about $7,872 per fire.

The department also received eight false calls.

The Logan-Trivoli Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $463,264 in 2017.
