Brimfield Public Library District Board met June 4.
Here is the minutes provided by the Board:
Call to Order – Holly More called the regular meeting of the Brimfield Public Library Board of Trustees to order.
Roll Call – Holly More took Roll Call with the following members present: Pam Fabish, Holly More, Trip Barton, Shirley Sollenberger, and Director Patti Smith.
Public Comment – None.
Special Business – Tara Blundy was sworn in as a Trustee.
Shirley Sollenberger made a motion to elect Trip Barton as Treasurer. Pam Fabish seconded; motion carried.
Trip Barton made a motion to accept the Prevailing Wage Ordinance. Shirley Sollenberger seconded; motion carried.
Tara Blundy made a motion to accept the Meeting Dates Ordinance. Pam Fabish seconded; motion carried.
Secretary’s Report – Pam Fabish made a motion to accept the May Meeting Minutes.
Shirley Sollenberger seconded; motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report – Trip Barton made a motion to approve the May Financial Reports.
Shirley Sollenberger seconded; motion carried.
Shirley Sollenberger made a motion to ratify the June bills. Tara Blundy seconded; motion carried.
The new budget for the next year was discussed.
Director’s Report – Patti Smith discussed the Summer Reading Program. She also conveyed that we received $4,500 for our Back to Books grant.
Unfinished Business – None.
Adjournment – Pam Fabish made a motion to adjourn. Shirley Sollenberger seconded; motion carried.
