How much has Princeville CUSD 326 overspent over the past 10 years?

Princeville Community Unit School District 326 accumulated $9.18 million in debt between fiscal years 2008 and 2017, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of public schools data.

Spending and revenue data obtained for this analysis comes from the Illinois Local Education Agency Retrieval Network (ILEARN), which is part of the Illinois State Board of Education and collects data annually on school district financials.

Over the 10-year span, Princeville CUSD 326 reported 30 percent more revenue. At the same time, total spending went up 24.2 percent. The resulting deficit grew by 12.2 percent from 2008 to 2017.
