City of East Peoria issued the following announcement on Sept. 13.

One-mile, two-mile and three-mile walks
Check-in and registration - 7 a.m.; Walk - 8 a.m.
Location: Camp Street Trail
The Moms Who Care Walk fundraiser helps provide personal items, clothing, and more for students in need from East Peoria Community High School and Central Junior High School, as well as other area schools. The event is sponsored in part by the City of East Peoria and East Peoria Chamber of Commerce.
Entry fee for the event is $25 for those age 19 and older, and $15 for those age 18 and under. A T-shirt is guaranteed if the registration form is received by Sept. 15.
