City of Washington issued the following announcement on Sept. 30.
The City’s brush pick up service starts Monday, October 15 at 7 A.M. If you have brush for pick up and don’t want to read the detailed instructions on the City website (https://cityofwashington.online/not_hair_brushes ), place your brush between the curb and sidewalk with the handle toward the street. If Public Works does not pick it up by Friday, move it your dang self. Please don’t block sidewalks. Lift with your legs. Use a Kleenex, not your sleeve. Wash your hands. Avoid running with scissors. Thank you.
