Q2 real estate sales report: Chillicothe

Median prices declined in Chillicothe over last year, and are down 8.7 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to second quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From April to June, 23 homes sold in Chillicothe for a median price of $125,500. That's 0.6 percent lower than median home sale prices for the second quarter of 2017.

In the second quarter, there were no foreclosures in Chillicothe.

Median property tax for homeowners in Chillicothe was $3,261.78 in 2017 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 2.6 percent of their home's value in taxes.
