Report: Peoria spent $14,080 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Peoria School District 150 is up 10.4 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Peoria County school district spent $12,758 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $14,080 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 13782 to 13222.

Peoria's spending in 2017-18 was 5.6 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
