Report: Hollis spent $9,589 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Hollis Consolidated School District 328 is up 8.2 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Peoria County school district spent $8,865 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $9,589 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 171 to 160.

Hollis's spending in 2017-18 was 28.1 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
