Report: Creve Coeur spent $11,173 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Creve Coeur School District 76 is up 28.7 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Tazewell County school district spent $8,682 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $11,173 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 669 to 580.

Creve Coeur's spending in 2017-18 was 16.2 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
