Report: Fulton County spent $11,298 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Fulton County Community Unit School District 3 is up 8.7 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Fulton County school district spent $10,398 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $11,298 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 493 to 424.

Fulton County's spending in 2017-18 was 15.3 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
