Report: Bartonville spent $7,531 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Bartonville School District 66 is up 11.6 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Peoria County school district spent $6,746 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $7,531 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 245 to 310.

Bartonville's spending in 2017-18 was 43.5 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
