Report: Bradford spent $8,211 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Bradford Community Unified School District 1 is up 8.6 percent from five years ago, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Stark County school district spent $7,559 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $8,211 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 164 to 157.

Bradford's spending in 2017-18 was 38.4 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
