Q3 real estate sales report: Creve Coeur

Median prices declined in Creve Coeur over last year, and are down 11.2 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to third quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From July to September, 21 homes sold in Creve Coeur for a median price of $65,000. That's 8.2 percent lower than median home sale prices for the third quarter of 2017.

In the third quarter, there were no foreclosures in Creve Coeur.

Median property tax for homeowners in Creve Coeur was $1,515.34 in 2016 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 2.6 percent of their home's value in taxes.

Statewide, Illinois homeowners pay an effective property tax rate of 2.2 percent, according to a 2017 property tax analysis by ATTOM Data Solutions, ranking it second among U.S. states and the District of Columbia.
