Mason City home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Mason City rose by $40,000 while total sales decreased by 37.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $90,000 - a 80% increase over the $50,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Mason City in the first quarter of 2016.
