Avon home prices fall in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Avon fell by $25,000 while total sales remained unchanged with two homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $35,000 - a 41.7% decrease over the $60,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Avon in the third quarter of 2017, as well.

The median sales tax in Avon for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $953.80, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
