Eureka home prices fall in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in Eureka fell by $1,300 while total sales decreased by 9.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were 20 homes sold, with a median sale price of $120,450 - a 1.1% decrease over the $121,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 22 homes sold in Eureka in the second quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Eureka for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,234.40, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2018.
