El Paso home prices fall in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in El Paso fell by $33,300 while total sales decreased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $78,950 - a 29.7% decrease over the $112,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in El Paso in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in El Paso for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,568.10, approximately 3.3% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
