Peoria home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Peoria rose by $2,250 while total sales increased by 24.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 634 homes sold, with a median sale price of $114,950 - a 2% increase over the $112,700 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 510 homes sold in Peoria in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Peoria for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,236.60, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
