West Peoria home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in West Peoria rose by $1,100 while total sales increased by 13.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 25 homes sold, with a median sale price of $68,000 - a 1.6% increase over the $66,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 22 homes sold in West Peoria in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in West Peoria for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,748.10, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
