East Peoria home prices fall in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in East Peoria fell by $7,250 while total sales increased by 37.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 107 homes sold, with a median sale price of $112,000 - a 6.1% decrease over the $119,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 78 homes sold in East Peoria in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in East Peoria for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,782.80, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
