Hanna City home prices fall in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Hanna City fell by $22,000 while total sales increased by 16%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 29 homes sold, with a median sale price of $83,000 - a 21% decrease over the $105,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 25 homes sold in Hanna City in 2016.

The median sales tax in Hanna City for 2017 was $2,314. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,270. This marks an increase of 2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.8%.
