Canton home prices fall in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Canton fell by $22,600 while total sales decreased by 6.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were 27 homes sold, with a median sale price of $59,900 - a 27.4% decrease over the $82,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 29 homes sold in Canton in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Canton for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,673, approximately 2.8% of the median home sale price for August 2017.
