Canton home prices rise in August 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2018 in Canton rose by $4,850 while total sales increased by 40.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2018, there were 38 homes sold, with a median sale price of $64,750 - a 8.1% increase over the $59,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 27 homes sold in Canton in August 2017.

The median sales tax in Canton for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,673, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for August 2018.
